The TSA (Secure Flight Passenger Data) and APIS (Advance Passenger Information System) are two systems widely used for flight safety. APIS data includes passenger information that would be found on the face of a passport, such as full name, gender, and country of passport issuance, while TSA only contains the full name, gender, and date of birth (with no passport info being attached). Depending on your trip, one or both of these systems may be used.
Though it is mandatory to have these details in place and reflect accurate information, they can be adjusted at any time before the originally scheduled flight.
